Aire Valley Restaurant and Guest House is situated on
the Great Ocean Road, west of Apollo Bay outside the
hamlet of Hordern Vale. The Homestead dates originally
from the 1890s and overlooks the lakes of the Aire River
Wildlife Reserve and the Great Otway National Park.
The Aire Valley Restaurant specialises in the very best fresh food. Vegetables and herbs are picked from the garden each evening just before dinner. Meat is sourced directly from Colac and fish from local Victorian waters.
Aire Valley Guest House provides excellent accommodation on the Great Ocean Road. They pride themselves on their high standard of service from the moment you arrive. A perfect place to stay for your Great Ocean Road trip or your Great Ocean Walk adventure.
Perfectly situated, just west of Apollo Bay and close to all the attraction of the Otways. The 12 Apostles are within 70kms and the Cape Otway Lighthouse is just 16kms away.
Our menu is kept small to ensure the ingredients are fresh. Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner by the log fire in winter, and in summer, dining is on the verandah overlooking the lakes of the Great Ocean Road and the Aire River Wildlife Reserve, (sometimes known as our own African plain).
Our two gardeners, Wendy Hart and John Swain ensure the quality of the produce at all times in the restaurant garden.
