Welcome to KI Discovery Tours, luxury personalised touring. Our small group tours (maximum six passengers) are designed to bring you up close and personal with Kangaroo Island. Your friendly experienced guide will impress you with his local knowledge of Kangaroo Island and the abundant wildlife.
With KI Discovery Tours you explore the Island in a Toyota Tarago in absolute style and luxury comfort, with your local guide. Learn about the islands unique native wildlife and marvel and its natural surroundings, enjoy a gourmet picnic with a glass of Kangaroo Island local wine and take in the beauty.
KI Discovery Tours offer both one and two day itineraries; we can also tailor itineraries to suit the needs of individuals. Over night tours provide accommodation at the 4 star Kangaroo Island Seafront Resort. 1 Day / 1 Night Experience

Details
Day 1 Arrive at Kingscote Airport or Sealink Ferry Terminal and we pick you up and drop you to the Kangaroo Island Seafront Resort to check into your 4 Star Ocean view room.
Around 7:30pm you will have a two-course dinner in our A La Carte Sorrento’s Restaurant.
At 9:30pm you head to the Penguin Centre for a guided tour of the Little Penguin Colony. This is a Kangaroo Island must do!
Day 2 Get up in the morning for Full Breakfast before you head out for a full day of touring.
9:00am pick-up from the Resort, We head straight for Seal Bay Conservation Park where your guide will take you on the beach to get up close and personal with the Australian Sea-Lion colony. Watch them surf the waves for feed their young, this is an experience you will never forget.
Straight after Seal Bay you will enjoy a refreshing Morning Tea at Rustic Blue Art Gallery, were you can wonder through and have a look at local Kangaroo Island Art.
After morning tea you head to Hanson’s Bay Koala walk. Stroll along the avenue of tall gum trees to see wild koalas. One of the best places to view a sustainable managed koala population on Kangaroo Island.
After all this fresh air we then stop for a Gourmet Lunch, which will be served on either a secluded beach or in a remote bush setting (depending on weather) you can sit back with a glass of Kangaroo Island Wine and admire the surroundings and hopefully see more wildlife.
Last stop is the island largest national park Flinders’s Chase at the western end of the Island. You will get the chance to see the wonderful native wildlife such as Kangaroo’s, Wallabies and Birds at Rocky River.
From there we drive through the park to Admirals Arch and see the colony of New Zealand Fur Seals, from the viewing platform you will get fantastic photo opportunity’s not to be missed.
Next stop are the Remarkable Rocks, these’s are large granite boulders standing dramatically on the cliff top which plunges 75 meters into the Southern Ocean
Your tour then concludes with you departure at the Airport or Sealink Ferry Terminal

First full day touring
Your tour begins immediately after pick-up at the Airport or Sealink Ferry Terminal

Now it’s off to the Kangaroo Island Seafront Resort to check into your accommodation in our 4 star Oceanview room you now have time to relax and have a massaging spa before dinner.
Around 7:30pm you have a two-course Dinner in our A La Carte Sorrento’s Restaurant.
Once you have finished dinner, you can stroll down to the Penguin Centre (only 200meters from Resort) and join others for your guided Penguin Tour. You will marvel at these little creatures.
Then back to you room for a good night sleep for preparation for another great day of touring
Second full day touring
Following morning you make your way down to Sorrento’s Restaurant for a delicious Full Breakfast, great way to start the day!
We pick you up @ 9:30am from your resort and we head to Lathami National Park and observe the Kangaroos and wallabies, this is also the habitat of the rare Glossy Black Cockatoo’s and the shy and very cute Echidna.
Straight after we head to Stocks Bay along the fantastic coastline of North Kangaroo Island we get to show you a hidden beach- we make our way through the tunnel on the eastern end of the beach.
After all this fresh air we then stop for a Gourmet Lunch, which will be served on either a secluded beach or in a remote bush setting (depending on weather) you can sit back with a glass of Kangaroo Island Wine and admire the surroundings and hopefully see more wildlife.
Now we head to Parndana Wildlife or Paul’s Place Wildlife Park. The Wildlife Parks offers visitors an opportunity to get very close to some rare and unusual native animals. We promote Kangaroo Island wildlife at your fingertips. Kangaroo feeding is permitted.
Still going we head to Kingscote (main town of Kangaroo Island) one of the most important heritage sites in South Australia, your guide will give you local knowledge of the history of Kingscote.
While in Kingscote you will go to Duck Lagoon in the large trees along the start of this road you may see koalas. Duck Lagoon is a council reserve, good bird watching, quiet walks and some good interpretation of the history of the area.
Last but not least is the Pelican Feeding in Kingscote. The pelican man provides you with an entertaining and informative talk about the pelicans and other sea birds, while encouraging their participation with fish treats. Learn about what they can and can't do. If you like, you can even get a 'bit too close for comfort'.
Now it’s back to the Kangaroo Island Seafront Resort to check into your accommodation in our 4 star Oceanview room you now have time to relax and have a massaging spa before dinner.
