The Lodge's seven luxury guest rooms (all with ensuites) are fully equipped with generous facilities and services, including the indulgence of bedside chocolates and a self-service wagon of freshly baked cookies, coffee and herbal teas.
Breakfast consists of seasonal fruit, savoury dish of the day and freshly baked bread and pastries with readily replenished coffee.

Luxury Oceanview Rooms |
A full suite on the ground floor of our luxury lodge accommodation features
uninterrupted NZ coastal vistas and locally handcrafted and designed
furniture. Smokey mauve walls are accented with soft voile drapes in mauve,
coriander and silver stripes, a collection of bed cushions and sage mohair
rugs complete the decor. Ensuite facilities include a shower and separate
bath. The private lounge offers relaxation for a longer stay and space for a
party of three if required.

This spacious suite-like room of our luxury lodge accommodation features
gentle architectural curving ceilings and is furbished to reflect NZ
landscape hues with stunning taffeta cinnamon/bark striped drapes, and two
cosy mohair rugs. Rimu writing desk and own tea/coffee facilities. Private
balcony captures sunrises and sunsets with incredible coastal views. |

The striking curved architecture is very strong in this room. Decorated in
strong blue, with a nautical hint. This room of our luxury lodge
accommodation features a west facing balcony on which you may linger and
enjoy some panoramic views of NZ. Watch the sinking sun or the storm over
the Tasman Sea and north to beyond Greymouth. |

Superior Rooms |
Very peaceful room, with featured curved rooflines, recently redecorated in
a warm dusty tussock ocre colour. Bed cushions of gold and duck-egg are
complimented with vibrant tangerine mohair rugs. |

Decorated in mustard with aubergine feature wall and locally hand-died silk
cushions lavishly on the bed complimented with mohair rugs. Tea/coffee
facilities and private patio with direct entry/exit on the ground floor. A
large total mobility bathroom. |

Superior Room with Bath
This Superior Room of our luxury lodge accommodation features NZ Oak
Heritage furniture from our family, the decor is warm and fresh in putty
with a chilli feature wall and cosy mohair rug. The bathroom features an
original heritage style claw foot bath and separate shower, tiled with
heated floor and an originally designed mirror by Trixie. Sunrise visits
this room early and plays on the garden and bush views. |

An additional smaller ensuite room is available on request for a third
person of a triple party booking.
All rooms have ensuites with hairdryers, toiletries, heated towel racks,
heated de-misting mirrors, table and chairs, Sky TV, telephone, electric
blankets, chocolates and glasses. Tea and coffee facilities with homemade
cookies and iced water in fridge - this is centrally located in the upstairs
foyer. Some rooms have their own tea and coffee making facilities. Kapitea
Ridge is smokefree and complies with the New Zealand Fire and Disability
Total Access regulations and standards.
