The Chateau Tongariro sits

Premium Room
These rooms all feature a private bathroom and have a mini-bar,

the beautifully historic Ruapehu Wing or stunning new Tongariro
Wing of the Chateau Tongariro. Our Premium Rooms are also

Family Room

two single beds, along with either a King or Queen Bed. Your room

Named for the distinguished Maori Chief who gifted his land – now
the Tongariro National Park - to New Zealand, the Te Heu Heu Suite
is our most prestigious accommodation. Spacious, luxurious and
decorated in the finest classical-style furnishings, the imposing
Te Heu Heu suite is situated on the top floor of the plush new
Tongariro Wing. The suite boasts stunning views of all three
towering mountains - Mount Ruapehu, Mount Ngauruhoe and Mount
Tongariro.
