Departing daily from the Coastal Kayaking base at Waitangi Beach paddle up the sheltered waters of the Waitangi Estuary to spend time exploring the mysterious mangrove forest and visit Haruru Falls. Experienced guides will ensure you have a safe, educational and exciting eco-tour. This trip is suitable for all ages, no experience necessary. Complimentary tea and coffee served at the waterfall.

Full Day Guided Tour (6-7 hrs)

Join this most unique and exciting sea kayaking adventure. In one day you will visit the deserted Motumaire Island where you can lie in the sun, swim, snorkel or sample fresh shell fish, paddle past the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds and up the Waitangi Estuary to the mysterious mangrove forest. Spend time paddling at leisure amongst the trees as the experienced guides explain this fascinating eco-system as well as pointing out the different fish and bird life along the way.

For added excitement paddle to the Haruru Falls where you can test your skills if you wish by kayaking under the waterfall before stopping for complimentary tea and coffee. Snorkel gear provided. (You can bring your swimsuit & towel, camera in a plastic bag, and lunch). No experience necessary.
