Your Siberia Experience leaves from Makarora at the head of Lake Wanaka (just 1.5hrs from Queenstown) and allows you to enjoy some of New Zealand's untouched scenery from the air, on land and from the water. SCENIC FLIGHT

25 minutes of stunning views, capturing the rugged beauty of New Zealand's World Heritage National Park. See glaciers, ice, snow, mountain lakes, hanging valleys, vast rain forests, dramatic unspoiled beauty.

BUSH WALK

Land in the Siberia Valley to begin a 2.5hr walk through native beech forest on a well marked track linking the remote Siberia Valley with the wilderness of the Wilkin Valley.

JETBOAT

Rendezvous with the Wilkin River Jets for a thrilling and uniquely scenic 30 minute trip to Makarora.

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes/boots, warm waterproof jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellant, camera and lots of film. Suitable for all ages with average fitness. Departure times on demand. Departs from Makarora on SH6, 1hr from Haast or 45mins from Wanaka.
