visit the Nelson Lakes National Park, observe

Korimako is the ideal place to stay.
Enjoy a comfortable and naturally beautiful
setting close to outdoor activities and
experiences. Built predominately of timber and
landscaped using native plants and rocks,
Korimako sits comfortably in its natural
surroundings. Special care is taken to
minimize its impact on the environment.
Korimako is sited for the natural warmth and
light of the sun, and its energy efficient
design includes solar hot water heating. The
developing garden is already attracting native
birds. To maximize the comfort of our guests,
Korimako is smoke free and not suitable for
children under 14 years.
Korimako
is situated 10 kilometres south of Murchison,
which is centrally located in the top half of
the South Island. Murchison is on the Buller
Gorge Heritage Highway, the main West Coast
touring route, and is 125km south of Nelson,
northeast of Westport and 300km northwest of
Christchurch. An
ideal location for a memorable stopover.
