Day 1 - Arrive Cairns

Day - Cairns

Take the Kuranda Scenic Railway to access the dense rainforest, view steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls. Spend time around the scenic Kuranda village watching for birdlife, platypus and butterflies as well as browsing the markets and galleries. Descend from the village, across the treetops on the spectacular Skyrail cable car. Day 3 - Great Barrier Reef overnight cruise

This morning depart Cairns to join Reef Encounter, a 35 metre luxury catamaran designed for the utmost stability & comfort at sea. The vessel is air-conditioned throughout & features spacious decks as well as roomy dining & recreation areas to dine and relax in, there is even an onboard SPA. Some time to relax, dive or snorkel before moving on to other excellent reef locations. Day 4 - Great Barrier Reef (finish Cairns)

The magic begins each day when the reef awakens. Perhaps an early morning dive, a revitalising swim or relaxing spa. Stay with Reef Encounter until early afternoon - with lots more opportunities to dive and snorkel before re-joining your transfer boat back to Cairns. Return approximately 5.45pm. Day 5 - Cairns to Daintree

Leaving Cairns by rental car travel just over an hour north along the beautiful Captain Cook Highway. Nestled on the edge of the Mossman Gorge in the Daintree Rainforest, Silky Oaks Lodge is the Daintree's ultimate resort where this rare wilderness can be enjoyed in elegance and ease. Vast and pristine the Daintree area contains the oldest living rainforest on Earth. Take a relaxing stroll along the lush riverbanks, explore the local area by bike, paddle a canoe on the Mossman River or join a guided rainforest walk. Accommodation: Options Activities: Options

Day 6 - Daintree

Join Australian Wilderness Experience's for a day tour featuring incredible coastal and rainforest scenery, visit a variety of different environments throughout the day including estuary, mangroves, rainforest and beach. Stop at Mill Walk in Cape Tribulation National Park, and learn about the ecology and fauna from your expert naturalist guide. Visit Myall Beach that offers spectacular views of the Cape Tribulation and the Great Dividing Range. A traditional Australian BBQ lunch is provided at a private bush camp followed by a revitalising swim in a freshwater swimming hole. In the afternoon enjoy a crocodile and wildlife spotting tour on the picturesque Daintree River and return to Silky Oaks Lodge for afternoon tea.
