Owned by the Patterson and Ward families, the Commodore opened for business on Christmas day 1971. We're a family owned business with a service that is genuine and facilities that are the envy of many resorts. Our guests are names, not just room numbers.
The "Business Level" meets the needs of the executive guest. Comprising nine international business-class rooms and "The Commodore Suite" guests can enjoy an airport "meet and greet", total-climate integrated air conditioning, and feature glass wall bringing natural light into the bathroom. The ability to watch television from the bath is enticing. Added to that "The Commodore suite" offers a separate lounge with home theatre, spa bath and, of course, views of the magnificent Southern Alps.
ROOMS
All guest accommodation rooms have garden or balcony access, a dual line direct dial telephone with voicemail, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and Sky satelite television. Vingcard door locks, a perimeter alarm and unobtrusive security fencing prevent unauthorised access to guest rooms.
Wheelchair accessible rooms, inter-conecting rooms and smoking rooms are available on request.

BUSINESS LEVEL
The Business Level comprises nine international class rooms and one suite.
- Express checkout or an 11 am checkout, nightly turndown service, in-room digital safe, bathrobes, integrated air conditioning, total climate control, large desk with modem points.
- Feature glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom allows you to enjoy natural light in the bathroom and watch television from the bath. An optional blind is installed for privacy.
- For added security, only guests registered on the Business level have access to the entire floor.
THE COMMODORE SUITE
