Kokonga Lodge is situated by the Central Otago Rail Trail, New Zealand, Kokonga Lodge provides stylish and welcoming accommodation for travellers. Overlooking the Taieri River and adjoining the Central Otago Rail Trail, Kokonga Lodge sits on an elevated 10-acre landscaped site with extensive views over the heart of the Maniototo.

The hosted accommodation at Kokonga Lodge is fully catered offering full breakfast, a 3 course dinner and packed lunches on request for guests heading off on a day of activities. The six individually themed rooms at Kokonga Lodge have ensuites and one room has wheelchair access.

The Central Otago region provides both summer and winter activities; biking and walking on the rail trail, fishing and gold panning in summer and winter heralds curling and ice skating. For those wanting stay-put accommodation Kokonga Lodge offers a selection of self guided activities plus mountain bikes, gold pans and fishing gear.

Kokonga Lodge welcomes bikers and walkers, small corporate or incentive groups, private parties, artists and writers retreats - and anyone wishing to relax and explore a distinctive, unspoiled area of New Zealand rich in history and tradition.

Six themed rooms with en-suites
All rooms have showers, bathrobes, hairdryers, quality toiletries and linen and fresh flowers.
One room has a spa bath
One room has wheel chair access
One room has a double couch bed as well as a king bed.
Two rooms can fit roll-aways.
An easily accessible tea, coffee making area.
 

Kokonga lodge Meals
(unless otherwise stated meals are included in the tariff):
Cooked and continental breakfast
Set Menu three-course dinner or barbecue either indoor or alfresco (all meals utilise fresh and home grown produce)
Selection of New Zealand beers and wines
Complimentary tea, freshly ground coffee, fruit and pre-dinner glass of wine or beer.
A packed lunch or picnic hamper can be prepared on request (additional cost).
